For example, there are... age restrictions! It would seem that how can this be when everyone is filmed in the cinema - from babies to the very old? But the fact is the fact. To shoot a Hollywood movie, the baby must be at least 15 days old. There are also serious demands on the length of the “working day”. Children under the age of six months can only be on set for 2 hours a day, while filming can take no more than 20 minutes a day. Children aged 6 months to 2 years old can be on set for 4 hours a day. However, the filming process itself should not exceed 2 hours. So does the director stop filming after the deadline expires? Not at all. If possible, twins or triplets will be involved in the filming. Or even just a doll.
If the process of filming a child has such strict limits, then what do they do in the remaining “working hours”? This includes the path to and from the studio, creating a character, working with makeup artists and costumers. A child should not be left alone on the set. One of the parents or guardian must be with him. Or, alternatively, a full-time teacher who oversees the young actor, and during the break teaches him according to the school curriculum. The psyche of child actors is carefully guarded. Therefore, the entire film crew behaves with restraint and delicacy in the process of working with the child, so as not to cause mental trauma to the baby.
