What kind of child can become a model?

For every parent, their child is the most beautiful on Earth. This is a normal and natural reaction. But does this mean that he has a direct route to the catwalk, the first covers of glossy magazines and the work of a top model?

Alas, this is not the case. The world of high fashion and advertising is very tough and does not believe in tears. It's not easy to get there, it's easier to quickly fall out of the cage. It is better to immediately realize whether it is worth trying to break into this particular area.

The first thing to do is to contact modeling professionals. For example, to one of the relevant agencies. The people working there are aware of the latest trends and requirements (which may change from time to time). They will immediately tell you whether the child should follow his dream or choose a different path in life. And it's not just about appearance, because different types are needed. Sometimes you need blond children, and sometimes redheads. In Asian countries, the Slavic type of appearance is in great demand and such children are often invited to shoot. Children with long, well-groomed hair are always welcome, which allows you to create different images for photo shoots.
 
But it's not ideal features that will play a decisive role (which is quite rare), but charisma, charm, confident behavior, and the ability to show emotions on camera. As well as serious motivation and willingness to work. After all, modeling is, first of all, work - hard, daily, often without self-pity.

By the way, a child should not be afraid of cameras and attention to his person. If he is shy and hides behind his mother's back, it is unlikely that he will be able to work as a model. Then it is worth solving the problem of excessive tightness by finding a good theater or dance studio for the baby. As a rule, creative activities help to liberate oneself internally, to reveal the best features in oneself.

Is it worth sending a child to a model school, which has now opened a lot? For some, this can be a successful career start (but not for everyone!). In any case, during the lessons the child will learn very useful skills in the future. The main thing is to choose the school that has good reviews, whose graduates find employers. And - don't bet too much on this opportunity. It is better to treat this as an interesting hobby. Which, if you're lucky, may later develop into a future profession. And then the grown-up child will come into it with experience, knowledge, and most importantly - with psychological stability and understanding of all the nuances of working as a model.
